best time to visit Zhangjiajie?

Where the weather is cool and sights have good views without weather effects?

The best time to visit there is during April~October, but you may avoid July which is a rainy month.

how busy does Zhangjiajie gets during the May holiday?

I am planning a quick trip to Zhangjiajie during the May holiday but I am affarid it will get horribly crowded like Jiuzhaigou and other tourist attractions. Could you tell me if this is a popular destination f during the May holiday?

Zhangjiajie is one of the most popular attractions in CHina. It will be very crowded during the May Day and National Day Holidays. I don't think it's a good idea to go there during May Day Holidays. You should avoid visiting Zhangjiajie from May 1 to 3.

Is Oct a good month to visit Zhangjiejie ? What is the temperature for Oct ?

Is there a Train route from Zhangjielie to Shenzen ? How long will it take ?

There is only one train from Zhangjiajie to Shenzhen West Train Station and it takes some 17 hours. I think October is fine. It is getting cooler at that time, 25 degrees at daytime, colder at night.
